Of ages, educational backgrounds and interests. And we’re a loyal bunch. Our “average” Markel employee has been with us for more than 10 years. We celebrate birthdays and have been known to grant out-of-the-box requests like taking a month off to climb Denali in Alaska. We value the personal touch that’s hard to find in today’s marketplace. Our company is no exception. There are architects on our team who have been with us since the 70’s. Ditto for two of our building supervisors and the graphic artist who designs our marketing materials.
